Applications

Add a show from its web page with the browser extension

Click the FairKeep button on a show’s website and a new application opens already filled in. Optionally send the show to FairFinder.

  1. 1Download FairKeep-AddShow-Extension.zip (free, for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc) from https://github.com/VAROIndustries/Extensions/releases/latest, unzip it, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder. Pin the FairKeep icon from the puzzle-piece menu.
  2. 2Make sure you are signed in to FairKeep in that browser.
  3. 3Open the show’s own web page — the organizer’s page or the vendor call — and click the FairKeep icon in your browser toolbar.
  4. 4A new tab opens on Applications → Track Application with the details filled in: name, dates, city and state, booth fee, application deadline, apply link, website, Instagram and the organizer’s contact.
  5. 5With an Assistant pack, FairKeep reads the whole page. Without one, it fills in what the page states plainly (usually the name, link and sometimes dates and city) and you type the rest.
  6. 6Check everything — pages are written by organizers and are not always clear — then click Save application.
  7. 7To share the show with other vendors, tick "Suggest this show to FairFinder" before saving. Suggestions are reviewed before they appear on fairfinder.cc.
  8. 8The extension only reads the page you click it on, at the moment you click. It never reads your other tabs or your browsing.
