Connect an AI assistant to FairKeep

Point Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client at your account so you can ask it about your shows in plain English.

1. 1Make an API key first — Settings -> API Keys. Tick Events read, Reports read and Applications read for a read-only assistant; add the write scopes only if you want it creating and editing events.
2. 2In your AI app, add a custom connector (in Claude this is Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector) and give it this address: https://api.fairkeep.app/mcp
3. 3Click Connect. You will be sent to a FairKeep page with a single box on it. Paste your API key there and press Authorize. That is the whole sign-in — the key stays on our page and your AI app never asks you for it directly.
4. 4You are connected. Ask it things like "what did I take at the Big E?", "what sold best on Saturday?", "which applications am I still waiting to hear back on?" or "what is my booth fee for next weekend?".
5. 5It can only do what the key can do. A key with no write scopes cannot change anything no matter how it is asked, and no key of any kind can open your documents — paperwork stays behind a signed-in session.
6. 6If your AI app cannot do the Connect step above, some can take the key in the address instead: https://api.fairkeep.app/mcp?key=YOUR_KEY_HERE. It works, but treat it as a last resort — a key written into an address gets copied into logs and browser history in a way the normal sign-in does not. Use a read-only key if you go this way, and delete it if you ever paste that address somewhere public.
7. 7Your assistant learns what it can do at the moment it connects, so a newly added ability will not show up in a connection you made earlier. If it tells you it cannot do something you were told it now can, disconnect and reconnect, then ask again.
