Secure your account with 2FA

Change your password and turn on two-factor authentication, so a leaked password is not enough on its own.

1. 1Go to Settings -> Security.
2. 2To change your password: enter your current one, then the new one twice. It must be at least 10 characters.
3. 3To turn on two-factor authentication, scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy — any of them).
4. 4If you cannot scan it, use the "Or enter manually" key shown underneath instead.
5. 5Type the 6-digit code from the app to confirm. Two-factor is not on until that code is accepted.
6. 6From then on you will be asked for a code from the app each time you sign in.
7. 7To turn it off again you have to enter your password — so someone who walks up to an unlocked screen cannot quietly remove it.
