These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FairKeep, operated by VARO Industries (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use FairKeep. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements. Use of the service for any illegal purpose is strictly prohibited.

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into FairKeep (events, notes, business information). We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
FairKeep allows you to connect third-party services (Google Calendar, Etsy, Shopify, Square, QuickBooks). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of any third-party service.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend access to address security concerns. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
New accounts start with a free 30-day trial of the Maker plan. No card is needed. Subscribing to Maker during the trial defers your first charge until the trial would have ended, so your remaining free days still count; upgrading to Vendor during the trial is a plan change, not a continuation, and billing starts immediately. When the trial ends without a subscription your account moves to the free Starter plan; nothing is deleted. Promotional discounts, such as 10% off for subscribing during or shortly after your trial, apply to your first Maker or Vendor payment only and never to Assistant packs.
Maker and Vendor are monthly or yearly subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. They renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a short window and your plan stays on. If it still can't be collected, the subscription ends and your account moves to the free Starter plan. Your data stays.
Sales tax is added where we're required to collect it.
We will give you at least 14 days' notice before changing a price you already pay.
The assistant built into FairKeep is an add-on, purchased as a pack. Each pack carries a monthly allowance with no rollover and no overage charges — unused allowance does not carry into the next period, and we never bill you beyond it. When your allowance is used up, the assistant stops answering until it resets at the start of each billing period.
The assistant can be wrong. Check its answers before acting on them, especially before relying on them for money, taxes, or anything you file with someone else.
Packs are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. They renew automatically; cancelling stops the next renewal, the pack runs to the end of the paid month, and partial months are not refunded.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we determine that your use poses a risk to other users or the platform.
Upon termination, your right to access the service ends immediately. We will retain your data for up to 30 days in case of accidental deletion, after which it is permanently purged.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VARO Industries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VARO Industries and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice in the application at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
