Troubleshooting
Someone on my team cannot see part of the app
Empty screens and "not allowed" messages for a helper are usually their role working as intended.
- 1Check their role first, in Settings -> Team. Crew is the most restricted role and it is the one most helpers get.
- 2Crew deliberately cannot see money. Not income, not expenses — on any event. This is not a bug and it is not something a setting turns on for one screen.
- 3Crew also do not get the full event list. They see the shows they are actually assigned to, which is why their list can look almost empty next to yours.
- 4Crew cannot create, edit or delete events, and cannot save event templates. If your helper says a button does nothing or is missing, this is usually why.
- 5If they should be able to do more, change their role rather than working around it — a manager sees the money, a crew member never does.
- 6Documents are separate again, and have their own access level per document. A document set to owner-only stays invisible to everyone else no matter their role, and that includes anything connected through an API key.
