Troubleshooting
My calendar is not showing new events
Subscribed feeds refresh on your calendar app’s schedule, not on FairKeep’s.
- 1Check you SUBSCRIBED to the feed rather than importing the file. Importing an .ics drops a frozen copy into your calendar — it will never update, and the events you added last week will never appear.
- 2If you did subscribe, the delay is your calendar app, not FairKeep. The feed is regenerated every time it is fetched; Google and Apple decide how often to fetch it, and that can be many hours regardless of any setting they show you.
- 3To check FairKeep’s side, open the feed address in a browser. If your new event is in what downloads, FairKeep is publishing it correctly and you are waiting on your calendar app.
- 4Times come through in the zone set in Settings -> Business, under Calendar. If everything in your calendar is shifted by a few hours, that setting is the thing to check.
- 5Treat the feed address like a password. Anyone who has it can read your schedule — there is no login on it, which is the only way a calendar app can subscribe.
- 6There is currently no way to change that address once it exists. If yours has gone somewhere it should not have, use Report Issue and say so — we can clear it at our end, and being able to do it yourself is worth us knowing you need.

Times or hourly charts look shifted
One time zone setting quietly drives more than the calendar feed it is filed under.
