Troubleshooting
A connected account stopped updating
Connections expire, get revoked, and occasionally need reconnecting by hand.
- 1Open Settings -> Integrations and look at the connection itself before assuming the feature is broken. Most "it stopped working" reports are a connection that has lapsed.
- 2Square connections renew themselves ahead of time in the background. That renewal fails permanently if access was revoked on the Square side — changing your Square password, removing the app, or an account change can all do it. Reconnecting is the fix.
- 3Shopify uses a key you supplied rather than a renewing connection, so it keeps working until the key is deleted or regenerated in Shopify. If it stops dead, check the key still exists there.
- 4Instagram tokens expire and say so plainly; Google Calendar will tell you it is not connected. Both mean reconnect rather than anything deeper.
- 5Reconnecting does not lose anything. Your events, income and history live in FairKeep, not in the connection — it only decides what can be fetched from here on.
- 6One thing reconnecting does NOT fix: an event whose register was never linked. That looks identical from the outside but is a different problem entirely.
