Troubleshooting

My sales report shows zero

A show you know took money reporting $0.00 — what the difference is between "no sales" and "never looked".

  1. 1Read the small print under the charts first. It is not decoration — it is the diagnosis.
  2. 2If it says no registers are linked to this event, that is your answer. FairKeep did not find zero sales; it never asked your till at all, because it had no register to ask about. Open the event, link the register that was ringing at that booth, and reload the report.
  3. 3Registers are linked per event, not once for your whole account. That is why this usually strikes older shows and ones brought in by CSV import — they were created before you started linking registers, so they never got one.
  4. 4On a multi-day show, linking the register to one day does not cover the run. Use the option to apply the registers to the whole run, or the other days stay empty.
  5. 5If there is no note at all and the figure is still zero, FairKeep did ask and your till reported nothing for those hours. Check the event date and times are right — sales are matched to the hours the event says it ran, so a show recorded on the wrong day finds nothing on that day.
  6. 6Still empty on a show from a previous season? Open your Shopify or Square reports for the same dates. If they are also empty there, the problem is how far back your till will hand over orders, not FairKeep. If they show the money, tell us — that is worth reporting.
  7. 7One thing that is NOT a fault: this report and the Income box on the event are allowed to disagree. The report is what your registers rang up and FairKeep could attribute to this booth. Income is a figure you can set yourself.
