Find a Shopify customer, tag them and refund an order
Look up customers, see their orders, keep tags and a private note, and refund items with Shopify's own figure.
- 1Open Shopify Manager and choose Customers. Search by name, email or phone.
- 2Open a customer to see their orders. Add or remove tags, and keep an internal note. The note is for you and your team.
- 3To refund, open the order and pick the items to refund.
- 4Click Check refund amount. The figure comes from Shopify itself.
- 5Choose a restock location if you want the items put back in stock. Email the customer is on by default; untick it to refund quietly.
- 6Type the amount to confirm, then click Refund. The same refund can't be sent twice.
- 7If FairKeep can't tell whether Shopify processed the refund, the dialog locks and tells you to check the order in Shopify before trying again.
- 8This needs read_customers, write_customers, read_orders and write_orders on your Shopify token.
