Tools & Integrations
Open Shopify Manager and give it the permissions it needs
Shopify Manager changes your Shopify store from one place: locations, prices, customers and refunds, and shipping. Here is how to open it and what each tool needs.
- 1Shopify Manager is on the Vendor plan. Open sm.fairkeep.app, or click Open Shopify Manager on Dashboard → Shopify. You sign in with your FairKeep account.
- 2Only the account Owner and Managers can use it. Staff and Crew see "Ask the account owner".
- 3It uses the Shopify connection you already set up on the Integrations page. Your Shopify token stays on FairKeep's side and never goes to your browser.
- 4Each tool needs its own Shopify permissions. Locations: read_locations and write_locations. Prices: read_products and write_products. Customers: read_customers, write_customers, read_orders and write_orders. Shipping: read_orders, read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders and write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders.
- 5If a tool is missing a permission, it tells you which one to add. The other tools keep working.
- 6To add one: in Shopify go to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps → FairKeep → Configuration, tick the permission, save, and reinstall the app. Then paste the new token on the Integrations page in FairKeep.
- 7Every change you make is saved in your activity log: who, what and when.
