Understand Income Per Hour (IPH)
Income Per Hour helps you compare shows on a fair basis — learn how FairKeep calculates it and how to use it to prioritize next year's market schedule.
- 1IPH = net profit ÷ total hours at the show.
- 2By default those are the hours the booth is open, worked out from the event start and end time.
- 3To count the whole day instead, go to Settings → Event day and turn on "Include setup and breakdown time". That adds your setup, breakdown, and round-trip drive to every show's hours.
- 4It is off by default, so turning it on lowers your IPH figures — that is the point: it reflects what a show actually costs you, not just the hours you were selling.
- 5Events where you typed setup and event hours by hand are left alone either way — that number is already your own total.
- 6FairKeep calculates IPH automatically and color-codes it: blue = great ($100+/hr), green = good ($50+/hr), amber = average.
- 7Use IPH to decide which shows to prioritize next year.
